Care Instructions

Dry cleaning is recommended, particularly if you are unsure about hand washing.

For hand washing:

• Use cold water with a suitable wool detergent such as Woolite.
• Dissolve detergent completely before placing the fabric in water.
• Do not twist or wring the fabric.
• Do not dry in direct sunlight.
• Lay flat on a towel and allow to air dry naturally.
• Iron only at a very low temperature and use a protective cover sheet.

For storage, avoid hanging the Pashmina for long periods as this may stretch the fabric. Fold neatly, preferably inside-out, and store in a muslin cloth in a cool, dry place.

Stitching Recommendations

Pashmina is a soft and loosely woven fabric, so careful stitching is recommended.

• Use thin seam reinforcement where required.
• Stitch approximately one inch looser than your regular size.
• A traditional shalwar is recommended instead of fitted pants.
• Underlining may help reduce stress on the fabric.
• Customized stitching with hand stitch (Tudpai) is available.
